Parent and Caregiver Training in Fort Collins
You are the most important person in your child’s life. Caregiver training gives you practical, real-world strategies from your child’s clinical team, so the skills your child builds in therapy show up at home, too.
Why It Matters
Skills stick when they’re practiced where they’re used. Families who understand the “why” behind a strategy can respond confidently in everyday moments, not just during therapy hours.
What Caregiver Training Looks Like
- We explain what we’re working on and why, in plain language.
- We coach you through strategies for the moments that matter to your family, like communicating needs, transitions, mealtimes, bedtime routines, managing challenging behaviors, and creating structured routines at home.
- We practice together and adjust based on what’s working at home.
- We invite your questions at every step.
Who Can Take Part
Parents and primary caregivers, plus the other people in your child’s life who come along with you, like grandparents, siblings, and babysitters. The more of your child’s world that knows the strategies, the more consistent things feel for your child.
How to Get Started
