In-Home ABA Across Mead
Getting Started From Mead
Mead Schools and Families
Mead students attend St. Vrain Valley Schools, including Mead Elementary, Mead Middle School, and Mead High School, home of the Mavericks. If your child is in school, we can plan sessions around the school day, and Attain coordinates with school teams, including teachers and IEP meetings.
Mead is small but growing quickly. The Census Bureau estimates it grew from about 4,800 people in 2020 to about 6,700 in 2024. In the 2020 Census, 27.5% of residents were under 18 and 44.2% of households had children. We also provide in-home ABA in nearby Platteville, Firestone, and Frederick, as we do everywhere in Colorado.
About Mead
Mead’s roots go back to Highland Lake, just west of today’s town, where settler Lorin C. Mead took up land in 1871. A post office called Mead has operated since 1907, and the town grew up as a farming community in a part of Weld County known for sugar beets. Mead sits along I-25, about 35 miles north of the State Capitol in Denver. Old Town Mead still has its small main street, shown in the photo above, while newer neighborhoods have grown up around it.
